Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor who is well-known for his part in the well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. While in college, he started to take an interest in acting. While at the University of Colorado at Boulder where he enrolled in the acting program. Although he's been in films and television shows and on stage, it's the roles he has played in small screen productions that earned him a lot of attention. He's able to seamlessly play characters on both sides of the law to grab an audience's focus. He played a serial killer in the first TV series he appeared in but later went on to play the role that of an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he's been awarded multiple nominations for the prestigious Emmy Awards as well as the PRISM Awards. His most attractive facial feature is thought to be his stunning blue eyes which are regarded to be a distinctive feature and are credited with creating characters that are savage and charismatic. The actor was featured in People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
