Melissa Suzanne George hails from Australia and is a model, actress, businesswoman and inventor. Following her start in her country of birth, she moved to Hollywood and was able to achieve significant results in Hollywood. George is a Perth native who was interested at first in artistic skateboarding and dance. The modeling career of her began in her early twenties, after she was awarded the Western Australia Teenage Model Award in 1992. Her debut on screen was the episode of the Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away the year immediately following. The big screen debut came with Dark City, a mystery thriller.
